~MINA~

3 weeks old - the day we brought Mina home

Sleepy head 5 1/2 weeks

7 weeks

She was only 3 weeks old when my son brought her home. She was so tiny it seemed and her teeth had not even really broke thru the skin. Her blue eyes with the baby puppy breath stole my heart. After she would take about 1/2 a bottle I would sit her up and she would burp just like a little human baby does.

Her journey is going to be one I would be honored to share and to also keep records for own personal visits. Enjoy,I know we will :) a small bit of FYI "Mera" means of blue blood, nobility, a lady aristocrat. "Mina" means lovely protector. She goes by Mina, but she is definitely my little "lovely lady"...when I rub her cheek she looks at me and brushes her paw against my cheek. She knows she is loved whole heartedly...

Thank you,she is so funny,and so smart,she is quick to learn...Her actions are so much like a growing,impressionable,baby girl.Our other pets,my children,have all just fell in love with her...there's not a mean ounce in her,I hate the rumors and reputation that pittbabies carry. I was told by a friend if I was going to have a Pitt that she wouldn't be visiting me,that's the same as criticizing one of my kids,just something ya don't do...we will miss that sweet lady,but my baby stays with momma t... I have a question or 2,ever since we got her when she falls asleep she jerks,eyes roll around and whines out and sometimes even yelps or wakes disoriented,is that common or could something had happened we didn't know about?Sometimes she also acts as if she doesn't see well,could she outgrow it?And do you suggest the ears clipped or is that for showing them?Again thank you very much..

Your puppy pit is adorable. I rescued my brintle fawn pit from a kill shelter. He was 3 months old. You can look for my blog on here entitled "Peanut the Amazing Pit Bull God Sent Into My Life". Please DO NOT clip her ears. Makes them more mean looking. And yes, Peanut at now 7 years old, wiggles, yelps, etc. in his dreams. We are one heart and he is in tune to my sadness, licks my tears, and loves me with his eyes. He is a 90 lb. lap dog. I love Peanut so much, he will be buried with me. Peanut is gentle as a lamb but people say he WILL fight for me if intention is to harm me. Peanut is also a service dog for me. Blessings to you and your new baby. I live in VA. and would very much love to stay in touch so I can see Mera Mina grow.

A little update on Mina,she's growing so fast,and as beautiful as ever.Ive recently had a couple of concerns arise,and I hope and pray they're not my fault or hard to correct.Past couple weeks Mina every so often will limp when she wakes up or goes to get up after sitting or laying,she has also started scratching.I know some people think my concern on scratching is frivolous but she is bathed in baby shampoo,she's an inside pet and no fleas,and sometimes it's as tho her skin is just terrifying her to death..I want for her like I would a child,if she hurts then I hurt,I just want to help her..I would would appreciate any ideas,suggestions,or similar stories that could help...
