Pit Bulls for Adoption

Here are just a few of the healthy, friendly pit bulls for adoption in northwest Arkansas and surrounding areas. Pit bulls bond strongly to their owners. So if you adopt one, get ready to be adored!

Smokey - Adopted!

blue pit bull pup

Smokey the bandit might just steal your heart. Who wouldn't love this charming blue pit bull boy? He is approx. 18 mos. old and is getting neutered this week. He was found wandering around town. No one claimed him from the animal shelter. So, now he's available for adoption from the Good Shepherd Animal Shelter in Eureka Springs. He has beautiful conformation and a great disposition--loves everyone. He even seems to be getting along well with other dogs. To find out more about what a great family pet Smokey will be, contact Linda at Good Shepherd 479-253-9188.

Macy

amstaff mix

Macy was rescued by a good samaritan who learned that her owner planned to dump Macy along with her buddy, Juna, a Catahoula Leopard Dog. Macy's rescuer convinced the owner to give her both dogs instead of dumping them and now they both need a home though not necessarily together. Macy is an Amstaff mix. She's approx. 3 years old, spayed and loves to give kisses. She has one brown eye and one blue. Macy is deaf. To learn more about caring for a deaf dog, visit this excellent site. Juna (the leopard dog) is about the same age and also spayed. If you would like more info on either Macy (pictured) or Juna, I will put you in touch with their rescuer--just use this contact form.

Noodles - Adopted!

Noodles is a handsome pit bull/lab mix. He's about 7 mos. old and has lots of puppy energy. He loves people and other dogs as well. He would do well with family who is active and will enjoy playing with him. He's just waiting to be your new best friend. For more information, call Gale at 479-633-2067 or email us.

Isis - Adopted!

red pit bull

Meet Isis the pit bull goddess! According to her caretakers, she is a real sweetheart! Two years old, spayed and ready to go to her forever home-- contact us to find out more and talk with her caregivers.

Sara Beth - Adopted!

Who could say "no" to this face? Isn't she just beautiful! According to her family, she's as angelic as she looks. But, they must re-home her due to a dispute with their neighbors who complained to Sara Beth's family's landlord about "living next door to a pit bull". The family is just devastated about having to re-home her. They are looking for a very special home that will give her the love and security she deserves. Sara Beth is 14 months old, spayed, UTD on shots and heart worm preventative. She is crate-trained, house-trained and currently lives in the Oklahoma City area. To have Sara Beth's family get in touch with you, call Gale at 479-633-2067

Sadie - ADOPTED!

Sadie, Sadie, pretty lady. According to her caretakers, Sadie is a hugger and leaner. Very sweet and affectionate--even with kittens. She was found abandoned, half-starved and had recently had pups though they were never found. Someone probably bred her and tossed her aside. Sadie just wants to be loved. If you'd like to meet this sweet tempered girl, call Gale at 479-633-2067 and I'll put you in touch with her guardian.

Beau - ADOPTED!

Beau is a charmer who would benefit from a more experienced handler. He is dog aggressive and very high energy. But, he would be an excellent companion for the right person. Beau is approximately a year old, red and white pit mix. To meet Beau, call Gale at 479-633-2067.

Sweetie - ADOPTED!

blue and white pitbull

Sweetie was found as a stray by a good samaritan who took her to the vet and the groomer. Now she's ready for a new home. As you can see, she's recently nursed puppies. What you can't see in this photo is that she has a patch around her other eye. According to Jim, who rescued her, "She is truly a fine pet....Leash, heels, loves a toy. Gentle with other dogs....and a lot of fun to be with!" If you'd like to find out more about Sweetie, email me. And, I will put you in touch with her guardian.
