Lucy Rose

We had just lost the last of our 3 pound puppies over 16 years and decided it was time again. We looked on adopt a pet and saw Lucy's face and we melted. We sent the email and got a response from Chows Plus Rescue.

She had just been rescued from the Stockton, CA pound and she was scheduled to be euthanized that day when Cheryl from Chows Plus rescued her from her fate.

We met Rosie, now called Lucy Rose and could not resist her happy face and kisses, she is a lover. We brought her home 4 days later after she was spayed. Lucy has a lot of energy and is only 10 months old, approx 49 lbs.

Luckily she has lots of room to run here on our 7 acres. She absolutely adores people and is learning manners daily. We hope to introduce her to other dogs soon.

Lucy is learning and being introduced to our Kiki kitty, who came to us in the middle of a snow storm 2 years ago and was very feral. Kiki has learned to love people and other animals too.

This is our 3rd pitbull and they are the most loving and loyal dogs. We look forward to a long and happy life with Lucy.

Thank God for people out there who rescue these beautiful animals and find them good loving homes as they deserve. People really need more education on these loyal creatures.
