My child--I mean my Pit Bull Addie.

Besides the fact that she is furry and walks on four legs I am quite sure that my Pit Bull Addie is my child. Well, I love her like she is!

Addie is now 10 months old and is a lot bigger than when I met her at 3 months. You see, my boyfriend and I wanted a dog so badly because we both love dogs. At the time we decided we were going to wait a little while to get one. One day, soon after making the decision to wait, we got a call about free pit bull puppies. If they weren't picked up with in the hour they were going to the shelter. We couldn't let this opportunity go!

After about a half hour of discussion we went and picked Addie up! I will NEVER EVER forget seeing her run out the door straight to me. I scooped her up and she kissed me like crazy--she still does that today. I knew it was right!

Since then I have become obsessed with Pitties. I have never had one before and all I heard about was them mauling and fighting. I wish people would figure out that's not the majority. I have sort of developed into a Pit Bull advocate and even write a blog about them called Don't Be A Pit Bully.

Addie is sweet but hyper..she's still got puppy in her! She loves hanging out with us all the time! She loves a good bone and she is an Animal Planet fanatic.

She is a great dog and I love her very much! I can't believe how much hate there is for the BEST breed of dog in the whole world! I say with pride..."I LOVE PIT BULLS!!"
