My pitties rock my world!

At 48 I never had a dog in my life. Was always a cat person. Not that I had anything against dogs rather just had no experience with them.

Enter my boyfriend who just happened to have a big Boat shop/yard and three what appeared to be menacing pit bulls. Wrong. I walked up to all three of them, Midnight (the oldest and all black), Trixie (a big burley female), and Riley, (an eight month old blue/grey nose).

All three rescues (you can't even imagine the scars on those poor babies). They all three simultaneously licked me...need I say more since that day a year ago I have been so in love. They spend the night with me (alternating) and kiss me, lick me, protect me, and play chew on me.

Never ever have they hurt me or anyone else. I think there is a special place in heaven for these little guys/girls that are misunderstood, mistreated, and constantly maligned. BTW I am a professional, white, female (for all you haters out there that also stereotype!)

Thanks for letting me contribute and keep up the good work. The only way to change the minds of people is to continue to educate and spread good word!
