No, pit bulls are not dangerous!!!!

I have an 8 year old Pit that I would trust with my life and the lives of my children. Now here is a little story, that dog has only bitten one person. That person was my ex husband when he decided to put his hands on me in a drunken rage.

Out of all the dogs I have had in my life my Pit has been the best. When i was 20 my mother had a black lab and I was over at her house and the dog who she had from the time he was a puppy and was now 10 or so attacked me and then attacked her when she came to help. That was a BLACK LAB.

My pit has never once gotten aggressive with my kids pulling his hair or tail or even climbing on him. He has protected me when he thought he needed to and my family. And he is the only dog I have ever trusted with my life. It is not the dog it is the owner. Any dog can attack a person or bite.
