Be still my heart!

Merlin reminds me of one of my first Pits. I saw her in the back of a car at the gas station, she looked so sad.

I told the owner how beautiful she was and he said -- "Want her? She ain't no fighter. She's on the way to the pound."

"Misty Blue" gave us, our grandchildren and even the other dogs many years of pure joy.

She was a lover, not a fighter.

Not to worry--we never crop our dogs ears. Merlin's about 7 months old now. I will upload a more current pic when I get time. :)

Hoplessly in Love--I Can Relate

Thanks Jill. In my totally unbiased opinion, Merlin just gets more handsome each day. It has been nearly 8 years since we had a puppy in our house. I had forgotten how captivating they are to watch as they explore the world and try to figure things out. Right now, Merlin is particularly determined on getting positive attention from our other two dogs. And, he seems to be working his magic on them as well as on me and my husband. I'm with you, pitbulls 4-ever!

OMG Gale! What an adorable little baby!

I just wanna squish him!

You know, now that we've had a few months with a pitbull of our own, I honestly can't imagine having any other breed. I'm hopelessly in love!
