Our Sweet Girl, Shenzi

We adopted Shenzi from the Hilton Head Humane Association after going by to look for a small dog, which they didn't have any of. I decided to take a walk around to see who else was there. While all the other dogs jumped and barked, she was laying quietly on her bed. I brought my boyfriend back later that day and we both fell in love with her with her calm, sweet temperament.

She's 2 years old and loves everyone! Her ears perk up when anyone walks by, because they are all supposed to stop and say hello. She loves the beach but is weary of the waves. She has lots of friends at the dog park even though she'd prefer to hang out with the people.

People tend to walk away when they see her coming...until they meet her and realize what a sweet girl she is. We couldn't imagine life without her!
