Pit Bulls Are Just Like Any Dog

Pit bulls are like any dog. I have 5 pit bulls and the oldest is 5 and they are big lap dogs. They sleep with me and my boyfriend and my daughter loves them too.

We have kids who come over and the dogs don't try to hurt them. If u are not mean to your dogs as they grow up and u show them love and respect they know that you are the boss.

Now you see everyone making harsh words about them and they don't understand that any dog can hurt you. They just want to throw pit bulls under the bus (so you say). But if they look labs and the little dogs, they will hurt you faster then a pit bull.

Why do pit bulls have to be judged for what another dog does? I think if a pit does bite someone; then yes, some thing needs to be done. But they shouldn't have to die for it unless a child or adult dies from it. But some thing should be done and the owners should be held responsible for it.

Pits are just like any other dog. It is how u raise them and how the other dogs you bring around are. So everyone needs to see that it is not just pit bulls. It's all dogs. So stop trying to ban pit bulls and help them instead... Thank u for listening.

My Pit Bull rules, and not aggressively
by: Anonymous

My dog never starts fights with other dogs. My dog runs from fights. Every dog that has attempted to be aggressive with my pit bull was not a pit bull. My pit bull literally hides behind me, whimpering, and his hair on end, and tail between him legs.

Labs, German Sheppard, Bull Dogs, Jack Russells, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahua, all have all aggressively lunged at him. Two have actually bit him. He wanted nothing to do with them.

So I must conclude, with my direct contact and experience, the other breeds have problems, not mine.

Most of the above happened while we were hiking, and the other persons dog had social issues. Additionally, it is the owner not the breed.
