The Life of Chai
by Lily Baker
I bought Chai, under nourished and too young, from a horrible person outside of a Walmart. She had all female pups and I would have taken them all if I could.
Chai was the smallest and had her head stuck in a dog food can. This was April 2014 and two years later she has been the love of my life. She is my emotional companion and I adore her.
She is a wiggle worm and can clean a table off with her tail. When I was bound to a walker for a bit she learned to open my bedroom door for me. She is amazing, smart, funny and beautiful. She is my Chai and I am her human. We saved each other.
