Waiting for Grandma

Kenji - the blue and white big guy with the pointy ears - is almost 9 and hails from Goldsboro, NC. My husband and I got him right after we got married from the local pound. We went to look at a little girl named Xena, but she was already adopted and he stole our hearts.

Keenai - our only girl, she's the small brindle staring right into the camera - is nearly six years old now. She hails from Okinawa Japan. She is our only "free" dog as we got her from neighbors who couldn't care for her. We had her for two days when she got gravely ill. It cost nearly $500 to get all the blockages removed from her tummy, she wasn't given proper toys.

Shiro - the new guy he is the one half on and half off the bed is from here in Alamogordo, NM - he is almost 9 months old and already towers over the other two. We found him online. A gentleman bought him and took him home, to his 8 month pregnant wife! Needless to say she wasn't happy and he was up for adoption again the same day!
